Katherine Gunn works for the British intelligence service. She is a good spy, and swore allegiance to her country. One day she finds an email that flips her view of her state. The message proves that America and England previously conspired, after which they illegally invaded Iraq. All the evidence against the "enemy" was fabricated, and developed countries started the war only for their own benefit. Katherine decides to publish this letter so that ordinary people can find out the whole truth about officials. She tries to do everything secretly, but her services calculate it. They begin to threaten and intimidate her with a prison term, which may last until her death. Agents began to monitor the former spy to figure out all the accomplices. The information has not yet reached the people, but Catherine still has become a traitor. She is trying, with the help of lawyers, to justify her actions. But this is not enough. Terrible trials begin not only for Katherine, but also for her family and friends. She begins to fight for the truth, putting at stake a lot. The government will not allow revealing all its secrets at all costs, even if it is necessary to kill many people, among whom the main character is at risk.
